The Siemens RDE100.1 is a wired digital room thermostat that controls combi boilers and heating systems on an on/off basis. Its weekly programme lets you define separate comfort and economy periods for each day; when the room reaches the temperature you set, the boiler stops, and when it drops the boiler comes back in. The menu is deliberately plain, so the user needs no long handover after installation.
