Is the water in Ankara really hard?

Yes; the mains water in Ankara is among the harder (more calcareous) supplies compared with the Turkish average. Rapid scaling in kettles and heating elements is the daily proof. We measure the hardness at the survey.

Does a softener use salt?

Resin systems use tablet salt for regeneration; the water does not become salty, only the hardness ions are removed. Salt consumption depends on how much water you use and is economical.

Is treated water healthy — are the minerals removed?

In modern systems the mineral balance can be preserved; where needed we recommend models with a remineralising cartridge. We select the unit from the water analysis.

Do you change the filters as well?

Yes; along with the installation we set out a filter calendar and change them when they are due. If you prefer, we set up a maintenance agreement with reminders.
